Bea Miller
Bea Miller is an American singer-songwriter who received initial popularity during the second season of X Factor USA. She finished in 9th place and subsequently signed to Hollywood Records and Syco Music in 2013. She cites Nirvana and Miley Cyrus as influences on her music.
She released the Young Blood EP in April 2014, which featured tracks later released on her 2015 full length, debut album Not An Apology, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Both releases spawned the Hot-100 charting single “Fire N Gold”, and it’s predecessor “Young Blood.”
In 2016 she released a non-album single “Yes Girl”, originally written for her second album. She was also a supporting act on Selena Gomez' “Revival” Tour.
In 2017 Miller released three EP’s over the course of the year – chapter one: blue, chapter two: red, and chapter three: yellow. Each EP contained three tracks fitting to certain themes. Blue reflected on sadness endured during “the roughest period of her life so far”, red reflected on her not wanting to feel sorry for herself, sad and angry. Yellow reflected on moving on past the issues. Each of the nine songs were reportedly set to appear on her second studio album.
2018 finally saw the announcement and release of her second album aurora, which was supported by the singles “song like you” and “S.L.U.T.”
