Betta Lemme
Betta Lemme (born April 30, 1993) is a Canadian singer and songwriter.
Born in Montréal to Italian parents, she spoke French, Italian and English growing up. She made her artist debut as a feature on dance duo Sofi Tukker’s 2016 single “Awoo”. In 2017, she released her debut single, “Bambola”, along with two B-sides. Notably, the song features French and English verses with a chorus in Italian and interpolates the Patty Pravo song “La Bambola”, nodding to her Italian heritage. The single has so far reached #31 on the Italian charts, and also entered the French top 200.
