Christine Sako
Christina Sikora is a Nashville based, 19 year-old independent singer-songwriter from New Jersey. Christina began writing songs and playing multiple instruments around the age of 9. By the age of 14 she had already been performing her originals around New York, and later attended the Berklee College of Music summer songwriting program for 3 years, being mentored by NBC Songland’s Monument Records recording artist Sam DeRosa, LA based queer pop sensation Wrabel, and her long time collaborator: Jake Ohlbaum of alternative pop-punk band The Foxies. Christina’s emotive and relatable lyrics paired with dreamy layering and subtle 80’s-inspired production is primarily influenced by the styles of Tate McRae, Halsey, Julia Michaels and Chelsea Cutler.
Her latest releases have quickly been gaining the attention of TikTok, with her newest single “I’D HATE ME TOO” going viral at over one million plays in just one week in early February 2022. Her last EP has an award winning song “Wish I Hated You” in SongDoor’s 2021 international songwriting competition for the pop music category.
Christina is currently attending Belmont University’s songwriting program in Nashville, Tennessee.
