Emma Bale
Belgian singer Emma Bale, born Emma Balemans, kicked off her career after competing in the first season of The Voice Kids in Flanders in 2014 at the age of 14. She didn’t reach the final of the competition, but went on to release a cover of Kodaline’s “All I Want” the same year. The song reached the top 3 of the Flemish Singles Chart in Belgium. Her follow up single “Run” peaked at #2 in 2015, but gathered even more attention after it was remixed by Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies.
Bale released her debut album “My World untouched” in 2015. The album included the single “Fortune Cookie”, a collaboration with Belgian singer-songwriter Milow. The song topped the Flemish chart in January 2016.
In 2016 she was awarded Best Female Solo Artist at the Music Industry Awards in Belgium, becoming the youngest winner in the award’s history. She also was awarded Best Belgian Act at the 2016 MTV European Music Awards.
In 2018 Emma Bale released “Cut Loose”, which was produced by Neil Comber who has worked together with Glass Animals and Florence and The Machine. A second album is expected to be released in 2018.
