Omar Jeffery Pineiro (born May 15, 1997), known professionally as Smokepurpp, is an American rapper hailing from Miami-Dade County, Florida.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, but his family moved to Florida when he was 3. He started as a producer and video editor before pursuing a rap career

His earliest songs on his SoundCloud date back to July 2015. Popular associated acts include Lil Pump, XXXTENTACION, and Ski Mask the Slump God.

In 2017 Smokepurpp was signed to Travis Scott’s record label, Cactus Jack Records, but left in 2019 for unknown reasons.

In 2019, Smokepurpp released his long awaited debut album Deadstar 2, the sequel to his 2017 mixtape Deadstar, with features from Denzel Curry, Trippie Redd, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Skies, Moneybagg Yo, and Lil Pump.
