Jung Hoseok (Korean/Hangul: 정호석; born February 18, 1994, in Gwangju, South Korea), commonly referred to by his stage name; j-hope, is a dancer and rapper from South Korea. He is currently a member of South Korean hip-hop group BTS (Hangul: 방탄소년단) as main dancer and lead rapper. Before debuting with BTS, he had been apart of a street dance team called NEURON.
