Christina Aguilera will be the opening the American Music Awards this Sunday (Monday morning - Singapore time).
She will perform a seven-minute medley of her greatest hits!
According to US Magazine, the opening number will include "Genie in a Bottle," "Fighter", "Beautiful," "Keeps Getting Better" and "Dirrty".
“We are very excited to have Christina Aguilera perform at this year’s show," Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson told Us in a statement. "She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 'American Music Awards.'"
Anyways, the photo above were taken while she was arriving for her rehearsal today!
This is her first performance to promote her Greatest Hits. Hopefully she will bring it!!!

side note: Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey will also perform at the Grammy Nomination Concert Special on Dec 3. It will be the first ever Nomination concert. Usually its just an announcement at some boring press junket.
My predictions are right. As expected Taylor Swift stomped the sales charts with almost 600k.Thanks to the Country Music Awards on the same week her album was released! And she has around 9 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. She only 19 (if i'm not wrong) and the hottest girl in the country game. David debuts at a strong #2 and T-Pain takes the 4th spot. Christina at a very low #9 debut! Her lowest debut ever in terms of positioning and first week sales. She typically opens at least 300k. Its expected since it's a greatest hits album and it's only sold at Target storess. Thus losing out at the itunes market. Anyways, nobody seems to be impress with her new "futuristic" era!
Next week, Beyonce will top the charts with around 500-550k units sold!
