Originally sung by Soul Singer Luther Vandross, Booty Luv covered the song and released it as their 2nd single, less than a year from the original release of the song by Vandross. “Shine” is well received by the radio and is added to BBC’s Radio 1’s A-playlist. The song peaked at numer 10 on the UK singles chart.
LOVES the Moto Blanco remix the most. As usual, he does amazing stuff. Helps that the album mix is already disco-ey enough. The song marries soul with disco. Ah, I could imagine Studio 54. Heh. One of my fave songs of their debut album. =)
